Overview of the International Tax Manager role:

  • Manage the reporting of US international tax aspects, as it relates to US federal compliance.

Overview of the Corporate Assistant Controller role

  • Assist the Company get ready for the SEC registration process
  • This highly visible position will develop and maintain close business relationships with various disciplines throughout the organization including Financial Planning and Analysis, Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and the Merger and Acquisitions Integrations team.
  • This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves position. We are looking for someone to be the right-hand person to the Corporate Controller, someone who is a self-starter and can pivot quickly as needed.

Responsibilities of the Corporate Assistant Controller:

  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of financial statements per PCAOB standards & SEC compliance requirements
  • Remain current on all SEC reporting updates/requirements and manage the implementation/adoption of said requirements
  • Work directly with and oversee the internal and external auditors
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation for SOX– assist in the preparation of Risk Assessments
  • Ensure controls are in place to address financial statement, fraud, and enterprise risks and help remediation
  • Assist in month-end close process and preparation of financial statements for stakeholders
  • Preparation of analytical commentary for MD&A
  • Assist with valuation analysis for M&A activity
  • Ad hoc projects assigned as required

Preferred Qualifications for the Corporate Assistant Controller:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Minimum Of 7 Years relevant experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • SAP experience a plus

Overview of the Cost Accounting Supervisor role:

  • Prepare weekly reporting to analyze variances between actual and standard cost.
  • Summarize the operating insights into what is driving the financial variances.
  • Explain variances from the forecast.
  • Monitor performance to key financial and operating goals.
  • Coordinate cost analysis for all products, monitoring drivers deemed important to meeting profit objectives.
  • Review completed production order daily, compare and analyze actual job cost to standard cost per production order
  • Planning and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor cost.
  • Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
  • Reconcile shipments at a standard cost to cost of goods sold/manufactured.
  • Monitors physical inventories and cycle count program providing support to enhance the process.
  • Reconciles finished, WIP and raw goods inventories on a monthly basis.
  • Assisting in Month end close of General Ledger specifically to cost, manufacturing and inventory

Preferred Qualifications for the Cost Accounting Supervisor:

This particular division has doubled in size in the past year alone! We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, a go-getter and someone with great attention to detail. Real estate or construction experience would be a huge plus, but it is not required.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • GL and full-cycle accounting duties for various commercial and retail entities
  • Consolidation: assist with consolidation of all subsidiaries
  • Cash flow management: forecast planning for both cash inflow & outflow
  • Tax Compliance: coordinate return preparation and provide returns for appropriate parties. Maintain all related files.
  • Tenant Records: Track tenant receivables, complete annual reconciliations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Minimum GPA 3.0 in all accounting coursework
  • Understanding of debits/credits, T accounts, and normal account balances
  • Awareness of the relationship between the balance sheet and income statement

Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP function
  • Strong overall technological proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
