This role will oversee payroll treasury functions and play a critical role in optimizing cash flow, ensuring client satisfaction, and ensuring financial stability for our organization.

Overview of the Treasury Manager role:

  • Provide leadership to a team of associates, fostering a culture of accountability, mentorship, and professional/personal growth.
  • Oversee all aspects of money movement process, including payroll wires, ACHs, & client payment processing, and bank transmissions.
  • The primary point of contact for addressing payment discrepancies, payment and payroll returns, and escalating challenges to senior leadership.
  • Manage banking relationships and partners.

Preferred Qualifications for the Treasury Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
  • 5+ years experience in Treasury Management

HR/Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Processing:
    • Manage and execute end-to-end payroll processing activities for employees accurately and on time.
    • Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and commissions.
    • Ensure accuracy in timesheets, benefits, and tax withholdings.
  2. Compliance and Record-Keeping:
    • Stay updated on relevant federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate and organized payroll records.
  3. Employee Support:
    • Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries related to payroll matters.
    • Assist employees with payroll discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
    • Educate employees on payroll-related policies and procedures.
  4. Systems Management:
    • Utilize payroll software to process payroll and generate reports.
    • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure seamless integration between HR and payroll systems.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
  5. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate payroll reports for management review and audit purposes.

    • Provide analysis and insights on payroll data as needed.

HR/Payroll Specialist Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software (Paychex)

• Bi-Weekly processing of account reconciliation of payroll
• Bi-Weekly reconciliation of Intercompany Payroll Transactions
• Complete Worker’s Compensation Payroll Reports as needed
• Complete Ad Hoc Payroll Reports as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of Three (3) years’ experience in a Payroll Processing role with ADP Enterprise  Version 4 or 5

Job Duties:

Meet all payroll deadlines using KRONOS payroll software

Submission and payment of payroll related taxes and forms, workers comp and 401(k)

Reconciliation of all payroll liabilities including benefits

Month End Close / Financial Reports

  • Preparation and entry of all payroll related Journal Entries
  • Preparation of Intercompany invoices
  • Bank account tracking and balancing
  • GL account reconciliations including resolution of discrepancies
  • Monthly financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Preparation of schedules for the annual audit
    Other duties / special projects as assigned

Education / Training / Experience

5-10 years experience in all aspects of payroll preparation

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Required

Working knowledge of GAAP

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel
  • Experience with accounting software. KRONOS experience preferred
  • Great work ethic- lead by example character
