Job Duties

  • Plan and direct the preparation of written disclosures, and management’s discussion, and analysis required with the quarterly and annual financial statements.  Is also responsible for the coordination and review of all supporting footnotes and other supporting financial information required by  external and internal stakeholders.
  • Is primarily responsible for maintaining the relationship between Company, and its external auditors.  
  • Establishes, in conjunction with external auditors, and the Manager of Technical Accounting, the proper disclosure requirements as mandated by GAAP, IFRS, SEC, to insure Copmany is in compliance with all statutory and accounting requirements.
  • Is responsible for the interface between Company and Assistant VP of Finance on providing the required financial statement data for presentations for external stakeholders (bankers, debt holders, investors).  Also responsible for reviewing any documents prepared for consistency with issued financial statements.
  • Responsible for the integrity of the Financial Statements, and to insure that the Financial Statements are prepared within most recent requirements of US GAAP, IFRS, and all statutory requirements.  Is also responsible for the Final Financial Statement agreements with all financial data within SAP, or it  does not agree, can analyze and provide sound business reasons for any differences.
  • Manages all financial reporting requirements as mandated by shareholder.  This includes the monthly SIFO, and other financial date requirements requested by  shareholder.
  • Represent Finance on behalf of Assistant Controller financial Reporting & General Accounting in various meetings when necessary. 

Minimum Qualifications

College Degree (Bachelors Level) Accounting.

CPA; Big 4 public accounting experience.

Experience in drafting financial reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS.

Strong analytical ability.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience in audit process and procedures.

Prioritize work when given multiple projects.

Extensive computer skills: Word and Excel.

The Treasury Staff Accountant will work closely with the Treasury senior accountant and report to the Controller. The Treasury Staff Accountant will perform day to day treasury functions such as:
