Senior Accountant – Consolidations & Financial Reporting

  • Accounting for all share-based compensation, including expense, balance sheet, rollforwards/reconciliations and disclosures
  • Preparation and review of SEC footnotes and disclosures
  • Review of XBRL tagging completed by third-party vendor for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare quarterly and year-end investor presentations
  • Assist in the preparation of the board materials
  • Preparation of internal reports
  • Preparation of cash flow statement
  • Consolidated review and analysis of intercompany balances
  • Accounting for various accrued liabilities and prepaid items
  • Journal entries, reconciliations and analysis for the areas mentioned above
  • Interfacing with internal and external auditors
  • Evaluating processes for continuous improvement and efficiencies and suggesting change where needed
  • Researching accounting issues related to the areas of responsibility
  • Performing internal controls for areas of responsibility and ensuring that controls are appropriate and adequate under Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

Position Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting (CPA preferred);
  • 2-3 years experience in public accounting or 4-5 years relevant industry experience within accounting field (Big 4 Accounting experience a plus);
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP accounting requirements;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
