What you will be doing….
- Process payroll for employees in the Organization across entities
- Calculate wages, tax deductions, commissions, loan repayments, etc.
- Provides payroll expense allocations to Accounting Team for accurate recording
- Enter accurate data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs
- Works with Human Resources to make sure new hires and benefits information is accurately recorded in the payroll software system
- Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation transactions and personnel database
- Address and resolve any employee questions and complaints relating to the payroll system
- Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget, and expenses
- Process employee expense reimbursements
What you need to bring to the table….
- 3-5 years prior payroll experience
- Degree is a plus, but not required
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices
- Solid understanding of employment tax law, statutory limits, wage garnishment practices, etc
- Experience with Paycor preferred
- Ability to investigate and resolve issues
- Flexibility, ability to prioritize, and willingness to adapt to changes of job duties when the need arises
- Experience with Commission calculations
- Can be trusted to keep sensitive/confidential information secure and maintain discretion
