- Accounting team of 6!
- EADO location with brand new office space.
- Looking for someone who enjoys process improvements and an environment that needs a little extra love and attention.
Overview of the role:
- Maintenance of general ledger system to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and government agencies.
- Post general ledger transactions and perform reconciliations for assigned accounts.
- Maintain purchasing card program for 15-20 users ensuring timely submission and approval of expenses, accurate general ledger coding of expenses, and training for card users.
- Maintain fixed asset accounting and related schedules
- Serves as functional lead for accounts payable, including annual 1099 reporting process, and maintenance of AP subsidiary ledger
- Maintain accounting and tracking system for equipment and rental property leases
- Assist Director with the monthly closing process including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Assist Director with financial statement and compliance audits
- Assist Director with Form 990 preparation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A few years of public accounting experience
- CPA or CPA eligible

Overview of the role:
- Maintenance of general ledger system to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and government agencies.
- Post general ledger transactions and perform reconciliations for assigned accounts.
- Serves as functional lead for Billing, Accounts Receivable, Cash Receipts, and Client Banking
- Serves as functional lead for third party payment and registration applications ensuring accurate interface and reconciliation to the general ledger
- Maintenance of pledge receivables, gift reconciliations, and supporting donor documentation; complete monthly gift reconciliation with Development Office
- Maintenance of AR subsidiary ledger and oversight of aged accounts.
- Assist Director with the monthly closing process including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Assist Director with financial statement and compliance audits
- Assist Director with Form 990 preparation.
- Additional duties as assigned.
