Creative Financial Staffing has recently partnered with an outstanding organization that has been around for over 100 years! This role is 100% remote for now, but will return to a hybrid schedule. The company is located in Houston, Texas.

About the Real Estate Analyst Opportunity:

The real estate finance associate reports to the head of real estate operations and helps the team to execute the long-term vision for the real estate portfolio and to achieve the group’s financial, reporting and operational goals. This person performs complex finance functions including designing and performing ad hoc analyses, developing and maintaining complex data models, analyzing large data sets, and reconciling complex accounts.

Overview of the Real Estate Analyst role:

• Provides analytical, administrative, research, and project management support to the head of real estate operations to help maximize the revenue of the real estate portfolio
• Manages system data and documents to ensure proper tracking of real estate portfolio activity for performance and budget analysis, and produces periodic reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and on an ad-hoc basis
• Assists and works with real estate and team colleagues to ensure a smooth transition to/from the applicable teams in conjunction with acquisitions and dispositions
• Review and submit for approval budget related reporting and funding requests
• Coordinates with third party consultants for ongoing meetings and special projects
• Lead and support special projects and research
• Prepares internal review materials (i.e., investment committee memos, Board book materials)

Preferred Qualifications for the Real Estate Analyst:

• Business, accounting, finance or economics degree
• 2 to 5 years professional experience
• Public Accounting or Real Estate Finance Experience – development, financing, investment banking, asset management
• Fundamental understanding of real estate investment principles and financial metrics –
• Strong analytical, quantitative and technical skills with demonstrated ability to execute complex financial analyses and cash flow models

Salary:

• 75 to 95K plus bonus
