Responsibilities:

• Assist department heads in preparing the annual plan and quarterly forecast
• Analyze and prepare data summaries for inclusion in monthly, annual, and quarterly reporting packages
• Prepare variance analysis explanations for actual vs. actual and actual vs. plan and forecast
• Work with Project Managers to define and set up Project/WBS structures to align with desired cost tracking and reporting requirements
• Ensure all project/cost center master data is created
• Work with the Procurement team to ensure purchases are being allocated to the correct cost object at time of purchase order creation
• Review and code invoices for designated areas of responsibility
• Review project and cost center actuals for accuracy
• Prepare and submit correcting entries
• Prepare and submit monthly accrual entries to ensure costs are accurately reflected for the period
• Generate and distribute internal management reports
• Support Treasury cash forecasting needs for cash intensive activities
• Provide data to Tax department to facilitate annual tax planning and reporting
• Participate in system implementation initiatives as identified

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience or related experience
• Previous experience with SAP required; Project Systems module preferred
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel required
