Accounting Associate Opportunity

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a wealth management company near the Galleria. They are looking to add a Financial Analyst to their team and will move quickly for the right candidate.

Overview of the Accounting Associate role:

• Preparation of the monthly financial statements
• Management of client’s family legacy assets and personnel
• In regular direct contact with clients
• Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries
• Perform the accounts payable and accounts receivable function
• Perform cash management function, including discretionary cash sweep
• Perform payroll function
• Preparation of tax returns
• Management of various client operating entities
• Document management and accounting of private equity investments
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all records and data received and produced
• Identify opportunities and initiate recommendations for greater process efficiency and quality of information for reporting
• Assist in other special projects

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with an Accounting major from a four-year college/university
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Candidates with QuickBooks Enterprise experience preferred
• Time and project management skills are essential to successfully perform in this environment of competing demands
