What you will be doing as a Payroll Specialist ….
- Full payroll cycle processing.
- Communicate with 3rd party vendors.
- Create and generate reports and spreadsheets needed including bi-weekly GL upload, Labor Distribution Report, etc.
- Handle manual deductions.
- Track time of incoming payroll documents
- Administrative duties in accordance with the pay card program
- Ensure payroll documents are processed by deadline in partnership with HRIS.
- Prepare payroll corrections for missed timesheets including preparation of wire transfers or pay card requests, processing advances and ensuring deductions occur.
- Assist Finance with reconciling payroll GL accounts when needed.
- Complete requests for payroll information from internal and external auditors.
What you need to bring to the table as an Payroll Specialist …
- 4+ years of payroll administration experience.
- Knowledge and work experience with ADP
- Experience with Canadian payroll is preferred.
- Quick learner with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to deal with tight deadlines.
- Strong customer service focus.
