Our client is a leading PEO and staffing firm who is seeking an experienced and hands-on Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the CFO and play a critical role to the firm’s financial operations.

About the Role – Accounting Manager

As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the firm’s accounting functions. You will be reporting directly to the CFO. This is a hands on role where you will lead a team of direct reports and while collaborting with various departments to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have staffing/PEO industry experience as well as proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

  • Oversee day to day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies
  • Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including bank reconcilations, intercompany accounts, and other key accounts.
  • Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to maintain the accounting system and generate financial reports
