Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 + up to 5% Bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Director of Finance & Operations:

• Lead all finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cash management, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Oversee grant accounting, restricted funds management, audits, Form 990 preparation, and regulatory compliance
• Manage payroll, benefits administration, insurance, vendor relationships, and organizational policies
• Direct technology, operational risk management, and legal/compliance processes
• Partner with leadership on financial planning, organizational strategy, and growth initiatives
• Supervise and develop finance team members while enhancing operational infrastructure

Qualifications for the Director of Finance & Operations:

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience with strong nonprofit leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
• CPA strongly preferred
• Experience with nonprofit accounting, restricted funds, audits, compliance, and financial reporting
• Experience supporting organizations with budgets or revenues in the $10M-$20M+ range preferred
• Background with 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), PAC funds, or affiliated nonprofit structures is a plus
• Must be able to work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
