Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 base + bonus

Key Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP (and IFRS where applicable).
• Oversee core accounting functions including general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, revenue recognition, fixed assets, leases, and intercompany accounting.
• Build and lead a scalable shared services model across accounting and transactional finance functions.
• Manage internal and external audits, including preparation, execution, and remediation.
• Lead accounting integration efforts for acquisitions, including systems and process alignment.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing accounting teams, including remote/offshore resources.

Qualifications of the Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or senior leadership roles.
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large firm) strongly preferred.
• Experience building or leading shared services or centralized accounting functions.
• Experience with ERP implementations (Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar).
