Primary Responsibilities of the Accounting & Finance Manager:

• Supervise overall accounting operations including receivables, payables, and cash management
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly financial close processes
• Prepare, assess, and submit monthly management financial statements (MRs)
• Conduct monthly Work in Progress (WIP) analysis and evaluation
• Validate or create account reconciliations
• Review or input journal entries accurately
• Complete and deliver quarterly reporting package
• Analyze revenue, expenses, and balance sheet components as required
• Authorize payments and maintain communication with financial institutions
• Aid CFO in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Serve as primary liaison and organizer for annual IFRS financial statement audit
• Address inquiries and maintain communication with head office accounting
• Achieve consistent reporting deadlines with minimal need for post-submission adjustments or corrections

Qualifications for the Accounting & Finance Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Leadership experience managing accounting teams is a huge plus, not a must.
• Proficiency in IFRS or US GAAP
