In this role, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Analyze/maintain accurate client and project data in Deltek Vision
- Review and understand client agreements
- Project setup and maintenance
- Project Planning
- Prepare timely and accurate client invoices
- Perform Conflict Checks
- Leverage ARM software to collect accounts receivables
- Provide historical project data as needed
- Provide Vision/Vantagepoint training
- Provide project/planning reporting utilizing both Deltek and Planful reporting/dashboards
- Contact outside client accounting staff to assist with project financial data inquiries
- File maintenance for all billing processes for Accounting Department
- Open and maintain project filing to include file set-up, tracking, updating and monitoring
- Support for internal project managers for project needs
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance internal and external client experience and satisfaction
- Ability to change priorities as needed to meet Accounting team goals
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounting Department
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate Degree, or above, in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience – experience in a legal or professional services firm is preferred
- Proven experience with invoicing
- Understanding of percent complete invoicing and revenue recognition
- Experience with Deltek Vision and Elevia (a business management software) is highly desired
- Strong in the full MS Office Suite – MS Excel especially
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail are required
