Industry News: What a difference a year makes! From complete shutdown, remote working, homeschooling and negative oil to a bustling Houston economy with a tight candidate market. Wow! What an emotional rollercoaster. So let’s dive right in…. Yes, the Houston job market is HOT. We are partnering with every single industry to help them find talent right now. Construction, Real Estate and Homebuilding have probably been the hottest over the past few months. Another industry that has really kicked up hiring has been nonprofit. Many organizations need people with extensive grant experience. Oil & gas is turning around, and I think we are all noticing some new “green” jobs popping up. The higher level positions are finally coming back and I don’t think I have ever seen so many Analyst openings at one time. I am very excited and hopeful for what is yet to come for Houston and so very grateful we are in the place we are today. As always feel free reply back and let me know if are enjoying this quarterly content. I am always open to suggestions. See you in September with my next update!
