Controller

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000

Key Responsibilities for the Controller:

  • Oversee accounting operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, budget analyses, and Board reporting packages
  • Coordinate annual audits and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
  • Monitor departmental budgets and perform variance analysis
  • Supervise and develop accounting staff while supporting broader finance operations
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards

Qualifications for the Controller:

  • CPA and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within nonprofit organizations
  • Experience preparing financial statements, managing audits, budgeting, and internal controls
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience within an accounting function
