About the Role:

As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst with our client, you will play a key role in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team and make a significant impact on the organization’s success.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
2. Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, including footnotes and supporting schedules, for internal and external stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
4. Research and interpret accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
5. Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and procedures, as necessary.
6. Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
7. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in the energy industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
