What will the Accounting Manager do?
- Responsible for all aspects of accounting, including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, credit card company/expense reconciliation, and cash management.
- Manage checkbook updates weekly and coordinate with the accounting team for payment scheduling via ACH, and checks for multiple entities.
- Prepare State Sales and Use Tax returns for multiple entities to ensure timely submission of returns and payments.
- Manage and process, in a backup role, the Bi-weekly Royalty and monthly Groupon reconciliation/application for multiple franchised locations. Coordinate with the accounting team ACH collection for both applications.
- Payment applications, coordinate with VP for vendor payments, prepare sales and use tax returns and monthly financial reporting.
What you bring to the table as the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in Accounting/Finance.
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong leadership, management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and inter-company transactions.
- Sage Intacct experience preferred.
- Microsoft Excel: pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Franchise experience is a plus!
