What will the Accounting Manager do?

• Responsible for all aspects of accounting, including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, credit card company/expense reconciliation, and cash management.
• Manage checkbook updates weekly and coordinate with the accounting team for payment scheduling via ACH, and checks for multiple entities.
• Prepare State Sales and Use Tax returns for multiple entities to ensure timely submission of returns and payments.
• Manage and process, in a backup role, the Bi-weekly Royalty and monthly Groupon reconciliation/application for multiple franchised locations. Coordinate with the accounting team ACH collection for both applications.
• Payment applications, coordinate with VP for vendor payments, prepare sales and use tax returns and monthly financial reporting.

What you bring to the table as the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 3-5 years experience in Accounting/Finance.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong leadership, management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and inter-company transactions.
• Sage Intacct experience preferred.
• Microsoft Excel: pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Franchise experience is a plus!
