Job Summary:
Responsible for accounting and reporting activities in support of the Assistant Corporate Controller.
Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities:
• Complies with all quality, safety, health, environmental requirements, policies and procedures relevant to the position
• Assists with preparing and coordinating month-end closing, which includes, but is not limited to, preparing and posting journal entries, performing intercompany reconciliations and preparing various balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepares monthly stock-based compensation calculations
• Calculates dividend payments due upon equity award vesting
• Maintains Right-of-Use Asset schedules and calculations
• Leads the consolidation of the monthly financial statements for internal/external reporting
• Assists with preparation of statement of cash flows and equity roll forward
• Provides financial analysis and support to the Finance and Accounting group, including the preparation of management dashboards which include various operational metrics
• Prepares PBCs for external audit and assists with analysis and explanations
• Prepares supporting documentation and performs detailed tie out of quarterly filings with the SEC, earnings releases and investor presentations
• Supports internal control efforts by diligently monitoring internal control requirements for assigned duties
• Provides documentation and support when needed to Internal Audit
• Assists with filing the Company’s Section 16 Filings with the SEC (Form 3, 4 and 5)
• Prepares compliance reporting related to the Company’s credit facility
• Manages multiple deadlines and responds quickly to management requests
• Assists with special projects, workflow process and systems improvements, research of technical accounting issues and other duties as assigned
• Interaction with the U.S. and international controllers during the preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements
Education, Training, Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• At least 3 years of experience in public accounting (audit)
• Some experience with manufacturing companies preferred
