CFS has teamed up with a Growing Commercial Real Estate company that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to the team. They will be responsible for preparing financial reports of approximately 10-12 properties in various stages such as land investment, construction and development, retail properties, and office buildings. This person will review payables and receivables; perform bank and account reconciliations; provide financial information to auditors, tax consultants, lenders, property managers, and partners; assist in the preparation of budgets, recoveries, 1099, and sales tax; process annual property tax bills; and coordinate tax return preparation and distribution of K-1 to partners. This person will also be involved in the preparation of construction draws and other special projects assigned by the Controller.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
• Commercial real estate background; preferably in retail
• Financial reporting experience is required
• Great work ethic who works well with others
• Yardi experience is required
