Overview of the Staff Accountant role:

• Preparation of the monthly financial statements
• Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries
• Perform cash management function, including discretionary cash sweep
• Preparation of local taxes; Sales & Use Tax
• Identify opportunities and initiate recommendations for greater process efficiency and quality of information for reporting
• Assist operations team when needed
• Assist in other special projects

 

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Similar Business Focus
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Solid communication skills
• Integrity
• Thorough in approach — a “thinker” not a “doer
