CFS has been invited by one of our publicly-traded distribution clients to assist them on their search for a Staff Accountant. Their team is continuing to grow through acquisitions, so this is an awesome opportunity for someone looking to join a strong and steady company that has a lot of room for growth.

If this is the job for you, your duties would include:

• Journal entries
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Month-end close
• Sales tax filings
• Intercompany invoices
• Prepare journal entries by maintaining records and files.
• Review and improve accounting policies and procedures
• Researching and answering accounting/finance questions

To be successful in this job you should have:

• BA in Accounting
• A minimum of 1-2 years of Accounting experience
• Working experience with balance sheets
• Excellent Excel skills: pivot tables & macros
• Accounting experience working within a multinational/publicly traded company is a plus
