Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Applies daily cash receipts to appropriate accounts receivable invoices
- Prepares write-offs of various accounts receivable as needed, seeks approval for any required write-offs
- Reconciles accounts receivable or cash accounts as needed; corrects discrepancies. Participates in monthly close process
- Requests and delivers certificates of insurance to various stakeholders
- Sets up new workers compensation, general liability, and auto claims with third party administrator. Monitors existing claims. Arranges and seeks approval for claim payments as needed
- Arranges surety bond premium payments
- Maintains monopolistic state workers compensation accounts as needed
- Initiates wires based on company policies; monitors ACH and check disbursements
- Correctly uses general ledger account coding for disbursements and intercompany cash transfers
- Investigates and resolves banking related issues
- Provides support for cash funding and repatriation for international subsidiaries
- Uses various internet banking platforms
- Responds to audit inquiries
- Supports cash forecasting process
- Maintains various treasury reports
- Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to bank accounts, procedures, and services
Required Skills or Tools:
- Proficient using complete Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and PC skills
- Proficient with email system; Microsoft Outlook
- Proficient using computer-based accounting systems
- General knowledge of online banking platforms
- 5 years related treasury experience
Education:
- Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or related areas preferred
