๐ŸŒŸ As the Director of Grants and Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of grants received from federal and state governments, as well as foundations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure strict compliance with the requirements set forth by funders in each grant agreement. This includes overseeing federal, state, and local grants, both from public and private sources.

๐Ÿ“Š The Main Duties of the Position Include:

  • ๐Ÿ“ Generating insightful reports
  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Tracking and analyzing data
  • ๐Ÿ’ผ Coordinating with the Finance Department for invoicing
  • ๐ŸŒ Utilizing NetSuite for efficient financial management

We have recently adopted NetSuite as our financial management system, so experience with this platform is highly valued. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing contracts and grant reports and collaborating with partners and stakeholders to drive our mission forward.

๐ŸŽ“ Requirements ๐ŸŽ“

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Previous experience working in the nonprofit sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of its unique dynamics and challenges
  • Proven track record in grant administration, including successfully managing federal, state, and local grants
  • Proficiency in utilizing NetSuite or similar financial management systems
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, showcasing your ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, enabling you to efficiently track, process, and analyze data
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, fostering effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Passion for the nonprofit sector and a commitment to our mission of creating a world where ecosystems and human communities thrive
