Overview of the Corporate Controller role

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets, and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Direct the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain strong audit readiness.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications for the Corporate Controller:

• CPA preferred but not required.
• 10 – 15 years of experience. 5 of those are in leadership.
• Civil Engineering experience is a plus.
