Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee grant accounting and reporting, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and private funding requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support data-driven leadership decisions.
  • Strengthen internal controls to protect assets and ensure adherence to GAAP and IRS standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 4+ years of nonprofit finance experience with a strong understanding of grant accounting and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar) with exceptional analytical and communication skills.
