About the Cost Accountant role

You will own standard cost for materials, labor, and overhead across a broad product portfolio and work shoulder to shoulder with engineering and operations. This is a hands-on role with direct impact on product profitability and pricing accuracy.

What you will do as the Cost Accountant
- Validate and maintain standards for materials, labor, and overhead across all items
- Perform month end cost close activities and prepare clear variance analysis with root causes and actions
- Reconcile and improve the flow of purchase price and manufacturing variances so they land in the right place
- Support annual standard updates and ensure underlying assumptions are correct
- Monitor inventory valuation and provide insights that improve margin and pricing decisions
What you bring as the Cost Accountant
- Three or more years in a manufacturing cost role
- Solid knowledge of standard cost, variance analysis, and inventory accounting under GAAP
- Advanced Excel and experience with an ERP in a manufacturing setting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, supply chain, or related field
- CPA or CMA is a plus
