Overview of the Director of IT Security

• Develop companywide IT security frameworks
• Create the company’s Disaster recovery plan and maintain the security architecture design.
• Work with both the CIO and CTO handle the deployment and integrations to company security solutions
• Research security breaches and fix future breaches and issues
• Conduct regularly security awareness training to help maintain employee compliance and consistency.
• Work with and engage with the systems and networking teams to make sure companywide security policy if followed and monitored

Preferred Qualifications for the Director of IT Security

• Minimum of 5 years working in IT Security
• General experience in enterprise security architecture design
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Cyber Security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems)
• Certifications in either GIAC Security Essentials or ISACA Certified Information Security Manager
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and customer service skills
