Key Responsibilities for Staff Accountant:

  • Perform general ledger accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions
  • Assist with accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions and ensure timely invoicing and collections
  • Prepare financial reports and variance analyses for internal stakeholders
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes

Requirements for Staff Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry preferred)
  • Experience with Apprise and QuickBooks
