HR Manager Opportunity –
We seek a highly experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in all aspects of HR management, with a particular emphasis on manufacturing. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of HR for our manufacturing plant, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, training, and safety. They will also play a key role in creating a positive and productive work environment for all employees.

HR Manager Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain all confidential employee files, wage information, medical information, etc.
- Oversee the process weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly payroll
- Create reports in Excel, including: Payroll Journal Entries, Headcount, Wage, Vacation and Sick.
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices
- Develop clear policies and ensure policy awareness
- Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance
- Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures
- Answer all benefit questions, including Leave of Absences, Open Enrollment, New Hires, Life Changing Events, ACA reporting, etc.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Evaluates all accident reports – Review medical reports, witness statements, and department investigations, and compiles data for injury trends
- Leads safety for manufacturing plant
HR Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in HR management, with a focus on manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
- Experience with a variety of HR software systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
