🔴 Needed experience:
🔺 Technical- CPA, Manufacturing Industry experience, Public Company (SOX) experience, 8+ years experience (Ideally a mix of public/industry, but not required)
🔺Soft/Culture- Seeking a leader that knows how to make hard work fun, mentor staff, and build relationships across the organization

What will the Controller do?

• Monthly close process, producing accurate and timely reports
• Financial analysis and presentation of results to management
• Tax management, keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and their impact on the company
• Efficiently managing financial audits and internal control activities
• Leading the annual budgeting process and cash flow forecast
• Ensuring timely and accurate financial closings and reconciliations
• Supervising and leading a team of talented accounting professionals (team of 10+ in AP/AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, and other areas)
• Oversight of audits, liaison for external audits
• Manage Accounting function-related SOX activities and requirements, responding to the inquiries from internal auditor and parent company internal control group.

What we need in a Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
• CPA certification required; CMA certification is a plus
• 8 to 10 years of accounting experience, including public and industry experience
• Working knowledge of SOX
• Manufacturing experience required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• MBA in Finance and Accounting is a plus
