Staff Accountant, Remote role

Specific responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include:

• Assist with the month end close process
• Prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts including fixed assets, prepaids and cash
• Review P&L and Balance Sheet accounts for accuracy
• Participate in monthly financial reviews and provide explanations for variance inquiries
• Work closely with multiple departments and accounting and finance team members
• Assist with the internal reporting function related to the monthly management reporting package and other GAAP and non-GAAP metrics
• Interface with external auditors for annual audits

Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:

• BS in Accounting
• 1+ year of relevant accounting experience
