Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Manage accounting, financial statements, and expense tracking.
• Process accurate payroll for employees, ensuring timely payment.
• Prepare compliant financial statements (balance sheets, income/cash flow statements).
• Handle accounts payable/receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
• Reconcile bank/investment accounts, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor P&L trends, provide recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with tax advisors for accurate tax preparation/filing.

Requirements of the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience in financial management/reporting, preferably in real estate/property management; multi-entity preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Previous experience processing Payroll. Experience with APS Payroll software is a plus!
• Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
