Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Key contributor in the month-end close process, handling reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
- Responsible for intercompany and consolidations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Maintain and update leases, managing a crucial aspect of the organization’s financial operations.
- Take charge of full cycle fixed assets, overseeing their accurate recording and reporting.
- Support all audits by assisting in gathering the necessary documentation.
- Contribute to the creation of SOX documentation from scratch, ensuring compliance and process integrity.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and handle a variety of tasks with ease.
Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required, showcasing your foundation of accounting knowledge.
- Public accounting experience and/or certifications such as CPA, CMA, MBA, or MS are strongly preferred (even if currently in the testing process).
- Demonstrate an ambitious and driven mindset, constantly seeking new challenges and taking on more responsibility, regardless of changes in job titles.
