As an Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring timely and accurate accounting for commodity trading activity.
• Collaborating with planning, treasury, and other management to produce internal reports.
• Preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial disclosures.
• Compiling ad hoc reports to support management and financial planning.
• Providing technical accounting analysis and staying updated on accounting guidance.
• Assisting in developing and maintaining accounting policies and internal controls.
• Supporting external auditors and ensuring compliance with SOX regulations.

To excel in this role, you’ll bring:

• 8+ years of experience in commodity accounting.
• Experience working collaboratively with a physical commodity commercial team.
• Technical accounting expertise, specifically in ASC 330, ASC 606, ASC 815, and ASC 842.
• Strong skills in documenting technical accounting matters.
• Experience working with global teams across different time zones.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Microsoft Excel analytics capabilities.
