You will oversee income tax accounting entries, ensure compliance with ASC 740, model future tax projections, assist with tax matters related to acquisitions and divestitures, and handle special projects requiring tax expertise and technical accounting knowledge.

As a Manager, Income Tax Accounting, your responsibilities will include:

✅ Leadership and Team Management:

• Provide leadership and supervision to the Income Tax Accounting team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
• Encourage team members to work together towards common goals and objectives.
• Apply your tax accounting knowledge to guide and support group efforts and projects.

✅ Income Tax Accounting:

• Manage the completion of accounting for income taxes recorded at consolidated levels, including analyzing effective tax rates for COMPANY and each business unit.
• Assist in corporate-wide and business unit budgeting and forecasting of income taxes, ensuring accuracy in effective tax rates and cash flow assumptions.

✅ Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and all SOX requirements, serving as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors.
• Stay updated on tax legislation and accounting pronouncements, researching and determining their appropriate application to COMPANY.

✅ Cash Flow Management and Tax Planning:

• Manage cash flow requirements for tax payments and analyze opportunities to reduce cash taxes and effective tax rates.
• Collaborate closely with the Tax Compliance and Tax Planning functions to ensure alignment on tax positions across the COMPANY.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) or 4+ years of professional work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in the application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Strong management and supervisory skills.
