The Director of Accounting will be joining a fast-growing technology company located in Downtown Houston.  The Director of Accounting is a newly-created position designed to support both the day to day accounting efforts and the adoption of new accounting standards and/or new business acquisitions. The successful candidate will be joining a team of three and will experience strong promotion potential and a new/exciting company culture.

Duties:

• Technical Accounting guidance (ASC 606)
• Revenue Recognition review
• Financial Statement preparation/review (GAAP compliant)
• Day-to-Day accounting review (AR/AP/Credit)
• Cash/Royalty management
• Federal/State tax reporting review
• Coordinates with external auditors

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Accounting experience
• Experience with M&A Accounting
• Public Accounting experience preferred
• CPA required
