Small Company Controller / Bookkeeper – 65 to 70K – dcd@fittsroberts.com

Our client is currently seeking a Controller. The ideal candidate will be a self

starter with strong problem solving and analytical skills. This position will play a key role in the

growth of the organization through financial planning and projections in line with company

purpose and culture.

Position requirements: 

  • Working knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft Office 
  • Full cycle Accounts Payable 
  • Multiple bank reconciliations and record keeping 
  • Multiple credit card reconciliations 
  • General ledger postings and reconciliations 
  • Month end and year end close 
  • Detailed analysis and preparation of reports for executive staff 
  • 1099 preparation
  • Strong attention to detail with good problem solving skills 
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity 
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast paced environment 
  • At least 4 years of consecutive experience as a full-charge bookkeeper 
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including spelling, punctuation, and grammar
