Manufacturer is seeking a staff accountant to help our Company through its aggressive organic and acquisitive growth strategies.  Established in Houston in 1965, the Company has had steady, sustainable growth through product and market expansion over the past 45 years.   Now poised for continued growth, this position reports directly to the controller and will be valued member of our team.  This is a great environment for an individual to get hands experience with a variety of accounting tasks and duties in a small company.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable – full cycle from invoice entry to payment, and vendor interface.
• Daily Billing – Preparation of daily invoices to our customers.
• Inventory – Assist with daily data tracking of inventory and manufacturing.
• Labor time tracking and reporting for the manufacturing division.
• Purchase order preparation

 

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree preferred, but not required.
• 2-4 years of related accounting experience.
