Have you been waiting for that opportunity to get out of public accounting and into oil and gas? Now is the time.
My client is a publicly-traded oil and gas company with an impressive resume of industry awards. Their balance sheet is one of the strongest in the industry. I’ve spoken with current employees of this company to discuss other opportunities and have had them tell me, “No thanks, I love my job.” That’s a ringing endorsement. I’m psyched to be working on their side now.
This is a rotational, internal audit position, open due to growth. Considering their global presence and how much you’d travel if you worked for one of their competitors, the travel is relatively low at 25%. Typically, auditors here work in IA for 2 years and then transition out (if they want to) to a business unit position, such as a Controllership.
I need someone with:
- 2-4 years of audit experience (no more, no less) This can be public or industry, but they prefer public.
- Accounting Degree – can be finance, but you’ll also need a CPA.
- Speaking of CPA – this is a big plus.
- Strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills
Know anyone I can speak with about this? dcd@fittsroberts.com
