This position will report to the Manger- Operations Accounting. 

Position Summary:

Provide supervision to accountant, staff accountant and lead accountant positions within the Revenue Accounting department.

Responsible for final review and approval on documents, projects and processed that generate within the department.

Execute the posting of vouchers and general ledger processes to ultimately achieve the completion of the revenue distribution monthly close.

Provide review and analysis of departmental processes and projects.

Responsible for employee evaluations.

 

Qualifications

Accounting or Business degree required.

CPA or active COPAS involvement a plus.

8-12 years of diverse oil and gas accounting experience with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience required.

Must have working knowledge of oil and gas accounting including royalty and tax responsibilities.

Must have working experience with Land, Marketing, and Production areas.

Knowledge of accounting systems, Microsoft applications and production account systems preferred.
