Executive Administrative Assistant – West Houston – 50 to 55K – dcd@fittsroberts.com

Job Description:

 

You’ll provide support and administrative assistance to  managing director. You’ll perform a broad range of duties utilizing knowledge and experience of the Company’s organization, policies, and personnel, for which you’ll need the ability to make administrative decisions while exercising independent judgment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for providing clerical support, including composing, finalizing, and following up on a wide range of correspondence, presentations, etc.
  • Responsible for coordinating travel arrangements for the President and other executives, which include flights, hotel accommodations, car rentals, seminar registrations, etc
  • Responsible for anticipating the daily needs of the President’s agenda to support the President and handle demands, requests, correspondence, meetings, and required deadlines and to ensure the smooth operation of the office routine.
  • Responsible for providing good relations between the President’s office and business associates, and company employees. Further, to assist the President in developing the Company’s image and involvement in the business community at a level consistent with the Company’s goals, objectives, and policies. Will also, as assigned, be responsible for assisting in planning and organizing functions, both internal and external.
  • Under the President’s guidance, will anticipate the future departmental needs and be responsible for preparing the quarterly plan input for the Executive Department. This includes detailed input for the items such as travel, seminars, operating expenses, outside services.
  • Responsible for staying abreast of computer/office technology to continually improve the capability and functions available to enhance the quality and professionalism of the office.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make administrative decisions and exercise independent judgment in support of the President in routine as well as special projects. Responsible for coordinating the Executive Department’s efforts with other departments and managers, thus promoting and developing teamwork between all facets of the organization.

Education and Experience:

 

A 4-year degree is preferred.

 

Other Requirements:

 

5-10 years of experience in a related field.
