Our ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from accredited university and minimum six years of progressive accounting experience.  Supervises the accounting staff in the compilation and presentation of financial information which includes payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial statements; Formulates and administers approved accounting practices to ensure that financial and operating reports are accurate and provide reliable information necessary to control operations.  Responsible for managing the general accounting function.  Oversees the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements; Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.  Prepares or supervises the preparation of balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, data forecasts, cash flow data and other reports. Reconciles assets and liabilities; May conduct asset valuations and participate in budget planning process.  Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures; Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Requirements/Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred (In addition a minimum of 6 years experience in accounting preferred)
