Overview of the Controller:
• Manage month-end close process and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage financial software and systems implementation projects.
• Actively review work product to ensure accuracy in billing, collections, and payments
• Perform detailed monthly reviews of costs and overhead allocations.
• Coordinate all audit activity.
• Manage team of 3 direct reports (Staff & Senior Accountant, AP Lead)
• Prepares financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to top management.
• Develop policies, procedures, & controls to produce monthly financial statements.
• Assist with acquisition models and post-acquisition integration activities including process adoption.
• Developing written documentation of accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with CPA firm to ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns and audit report.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Management Reporting
• Support M&A activity
• Ensure cash flow management

Qualifications of the Controller:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum of 7 Years relevant experience
• Strong Excel skills; PowerBI preferred.
• Previous leadership experience leading smaller teams.
• Previous PE portfolio company experience helpful.
